When UV rays penetrate directly into bacteria and raise various kinds of biochemical reactions themselves, bacteria fall into functional disorder. UV rays strike directly at bacteria’s DNA and have a fatal influence on it. These UV rays work directly on most bacteria’s DNA sequences and cause disorder in the bacteria themselves. Therefore, the UV wavelength of 253.7 nm, which is the most efficient sterilization level, works directly on bacteria and obstructs DNA activities, thus sterilizing the bacteria’s cell perfectly.
Ultraviolet technology is a non-chemical approach to disinfection. In this method of disinfection, nothing is added, which makes this process simple, inexpensive, and requires very low maintenance.
The ultraviolet germicidal cabinet provides a safe and convenient means of sanitizing all small instruments, utensils, stethoscopes, vacuum suction glassware, makeup sponges, bandages, etc. that cannot be sterilized in steam sterilizers. These can be placed in the ultraviolet cabinet after cleaning them with an antiseptic solution or disinfectant, in which the sterilization is carried out by short-wave ultraviolet radiation generated by an 8-watt germicidal tube.

The machine is portable and has a provision for wall mounting. The weight of the cabinet is about 15–20 Kg.
The approximate size of the double door model will be 600mm X 475mm X 210mm. The doors will have glass panels for viewing purposes. The inner chamber will be made of stainless steel, and the outer body will be made of mild steel, duly powder coated.
The cabinet will have an automatic cut-off UV tube system when the door is opened.
The instrument is designed to operate on a 220V AC supply (a model with 110V is also available). An in-built fuse for safety is also provided.
At medical sites like Operation Theatre, ICCU, ICU, NICU, Post operation wards, OPD’s etc. Suitable for laboratories, Dental Clinics, ENT Clinics, Beauty clinics etc.
