Water Bath Incubator Shaker (Metabolic): SMI -144AB

This is a desktop model designed for studies on tissue metabolism, enzymes and protein coagulation or other experiments requiring shaking of subject matter at constant speed under controlled temperature environment. Integrated circulation pump for temperature homogeneity.

Construction

The basic construction is Double walled with 100% leak proof inner chamber of thick polished Stainless Steel sheet & has smooth inside working surface. The Outer body is made of stainless steel powder coated. The lid made of thick transparent sheet for inner view and prevent failing of condensed water droplets on the specimens. The space between the two walls is packed tightly with high grade glass wool to prevent loss of heat and ensure constant temperature. Heating is achieved by a high quality immersion type heater watt is 2 Kw and temperature range is 5°C ambient to 99.9°C with accuracy +0.1°C. The shaking mechanism comprises of variable speed motor fixed on the left side and coupled to the shaking tray which shakes linearly to and for on ball rollers moving in guides which are greased for smooth motion. The shaking frequency is 20-200 rpm by rotary type speed controller. The shaking tray can either hold test tubes or flasks of 25 ml or 50 ml or 100 ml or 250ml or 500 ml capacity as ordered by the users.

Control Panel

Control panel has switches to ON/OFF mains, Heating & Temperature Indicators, Power mains Indicator Temperature controller Shaking controller rpm regulator and Indicators. Temperature is control by controller cum Indicator PID based temperature controller with LED display for displayed set value (SV) & process value (PV). Water Bath has safety alarms system for Low fluid Alarm, High limit Alarm, Over temperature Alarm & cutoff. The water bath is designed to operate on 220-240V, 50Hz Single Phase AC power supply (Model with 110V supply is also available).
