Jindal Plant Growth Chamber is state-of-the-art equipment for plant growth and animal studies. It is used in many research, education and agricultural industries. The chamber is used for a material test in a constant climate, specifically the stability test in accordance with the ICH (International conference on halmonisation of technical requirements for registration of pharmaceuticals for Human use).

The combination of technology for heating, cooling and dehumidifying, as applied by the Jindal New Modular Plant Growth chamber is so far unique on the market. The inbuilt provision for light, temperature and humidity are made to test plant growth and analyse their flowering cycle.

The inner chamber is made of Stainless steel and the outer body is made of mild steel duly powder coated. A see through window is provided for inspection of plants without disturbing the thermal conditions. Adjustable stainless steel trays to place the samples are provided.

The inner stainless steel chamber is insulated by high density thick polyurethane foam insulation to prevent thermal losses.

The heating is done by finned heaters to maximize heat exchange process and to achieve the set temperature in a short time interval.

The cooling is done by a highly efficient hermetically sealed refrigeration unit with air cooled condenser & CFC free eco friendly refrigerant to achieve set temperature in a short time period.

Provision from 10,000Lux to 50,000Lux illumination is done with a mixture of incandescent lamp and fluorescent light to give effect of day light.

Highly efficient forced air type circulation with motor blower assembly is provided to maintain uniform temperature inside the chamber.

Jindal introduces the innovated new technology ultrasonic humidifier system which provides fast response to change in humidity without having any effect on the chamber temperature.

The new modular design of plant growth chamber is integrated with a multifunctional fuzzy controller with an integrated self diagnosis system and high quality platinum sensors. The fuzzy controller allows precise adjustments of temperature/humidity constellations, greater stability of the variables over long periods, which are of crucial significance.

• Over and under temperature protection temperature controller takes over control in case of failure of the primary controller. This controller can be set freely within the tolerance range for over and under temperature.

• Minimum Power Consumption Algorithm:
  Even though the growth chamber consists of a high wattage heater to act to any settable temperature quickly but it uses only a fraction of heater wattage when the chamber temperature reaches near to the set temperature thereby saving a lot of energy. This is achieved by using the heating circuit with a thyristor in a current control mode driven through the microprocessor. This control provides a soft start for the heaters thereby prolongs the heater life.
• The menu is driven through the microprocessor with password protection to ensure that no manipulation can be done while operated by an un-authorized person.
